If we see the data that every forth persons is either drug abuser or alcoholism. There is a huge number of drug abuser. The drinking trend is increasing among ladies also. Children are also coming into the vogue of drug. Introduction of drugs like heroin and other injecting drug users have changed the nature of the problem, which has acquired alarming dimensions. The direct link of injecting drug use and HIV/AIDS poses a national health threat. Specifically, we focused on the activities towards vulnerable group and continue to support selected peer-led intervention after an evaluation of these sites. However there is a great need to carry these activities forward and base the national strategic plans for addressing concerns of street children and incarcerated drug users on the information available from resource and vulnerability mapping. The Society not only conducts awareness through publicity, poster, Sign board, pamphlets at public place, also to organise street play, meeting, symposiums, Video Show, Debate and Painting Competition among students & cultural show by reflecting problems on Drug abuse but provide treatment of drug de-addiction.
Drug abuse is a growing concern that affects individuals, families, and entire communities. It not only harms the body and mind but also destroys relationships, careers, and futures. Awareness is the first step toward prevention. By educating young people, supporting those in recovery, and fostering a drug-free environment, we can build a healthier society. Let us stand together to say NO to drugs and YES to a brighter, safer future. Your support of ₹10,000 (in multiples) for each program can make this change possible.
